We have just been to Warwick Racecourse and the walk into the town was only 5 minutes from the site, due to the wife's mobility issues we are looking for similar sites within approx 100 miles of Leicester, the walk to the town/shops must be very short, no more than say 1/2 a mile and we cannot use public transport, can anyone suggest sites please?  Many thanks

I am new to this discussion thing, how do I find "MY previous posts/discussions" please there must be a way I only found this one again after looking down the list of recent activity.

My OH has a scooter but we are always worried if its driven a mile or so to the town and then used around the town for a few hours the battery wont get us back to the site

Unless you have a battery that is on its last legs? It should have enough power, does the scooter not have a display of the power in the batt?

Car into town, blue badge in front window, and park on double yellows became our lifestyle a couple of years ago. Thank goodness we never fell for the hype  about motorhomes - they are for active people.

We have parked our PVC on double yellows with the blue badge in the front window

Getting back on track, I suggested in the other thread that st6596 might consider joining C&CC. Their site in St Neots, Cambridgeshire is near a great park and the town and I think would fit the bill.
