Just returned from a smashing three days at Castleton Club Site in the Peak District. Lovely small village with a nice small Xmasy feel as the shops are laden with lights. The weather could have been better as we didn't see much sun for the whole of the three days. The site is so nicely kept and the wardens have definetly got in the spirit of Xmas with all the lights and Xmas Trees in reception area and entrance Well done it cheers you up. The only gripe we had was the dog walk which is only a small patch on the entrance to the siteThe only gripe we had  was we noticed there was not fencing around the dog walk and it meant a dog could easily run out in front of proceeding cars and caravans coming on to the site as the shrubs are very sparse and no penning wire to protect any accidents occuring. Im sure the club will say you should have your dog on a lead but we noticed a few people had thought it was OK to let them off as it was a designated area for the dogs.
