Dornafield or Damage Barton?

We are looking at booking our main 2 week summer holiday in either Devon or Cornwall. We are 2 adults in a motorhome with a dog. We're currently thinking of either Damage Barton or Dornafield. We will be going early July so should miss the school hols. We like a site that is fairly quiet within walking distance to a pub & if poss a dog friendly beach.

Which site do you think is better? Thanks

Take the Dog Along,

With knowledge of the site can you recommend any particular pitches or pitches to avoid. We'd prefer close but not next door to the toilet block and close to somewhere to walk the dog .

We had pitch 114 which was in between the toilet block and the 'dog gate'. Loved the site and the area and could drive down to the car park and walk a short distance (down a few steps) onto the beach. I also have limited mobility but managed a gentle stroll each day - it was wonderful. The walk across the dunes to the beach was just a little too far and arduous for me, so chose the car park option.

Your second choice site FB is beautiful and in a fabulous area with access to many beaches

I'm starting to feel a little jealous but hope you enjoy it as much as we did 😀👍
