Well we are very lucky we have received confirmation that we can stay on site  with others for the forceable future 😓(site now on lockdown)

obviously we are paying our pitch fees , but of course with Easter looming and higher rates for what would be high season (school holidays) plus Easter bank holiday, appear to be cancelled by all and sundry, government/churches , what’s your opinion on the cc charging us full holiday rates , pitch fees ,

do you think they should or not

Comment from the Community Manager:

In line with government guidelines, we have agreed members that are either key workers or, with no fixed abode can remain on site. For the few members that are with us, the Club have now confirmed that pricing will continue at the rates applicable on 22nd March, the date of closure. This will continue for the period we are closed commercially, until 30th June 2020. If you are still on site and have any questions about pricing or booking during this period, please call the site office and they can discuss this with you. We wish all our members, their families and those dear, the very best during the months ahead, keep well and safe. Do keep an eye on our website for further updates.

Knowing Tredegar Park and the surrounding NT land I cant think of a safer place to sit out the pandemic..It relies of course on ALL the people there adhering to Isolation and Lockdown. Surely those who have any queries should direct them to the club.My guess is that most rules have been superceded, including membership and length of stay. Be grateful you have a safe base regardless of the nightly fee..

RT was right I would get answers completely out of context and to be ready for war 😂

yes we are all happy and very grateful as mentioned in past post , yes I also know I can ask wardens or club, but at the time it wasn’t possible , so RT encourage me to post on here ,
the NT park is out of bounds closed , nobody cares

Does that mean you don't have access to the little convenience store and Chippy just around the corner?

Well, fancy that. Like M, I tried to catch her attention last night.

I'm glad to hear Ruby and fellow campers are ok. laughing

I was wondering if they had access to laundry facilities and that looks ok too, plus local shop and the big Asda,  so I wish them well.

Yes you can only go out through large locked gates and Asda is still there if you can get in 😱surrounded by very large housing estates

Yes facility’s have not changed wardens working hard as usual , and we are all paying site fees , nobody is moaning about fees at all as previous stated it was an off the cuff tongue in cheek remarked 😳that got a few of us wondering ,

we are all very grateful for the government intervention and the club of course, there are only 10 on site so social distancing is great

so suck it up, although i have some sympathy for you and would wish you to stay safe, at the end of the day you chose to live in your MH, so as such you know that pitch fees increase during peak periods and if you use CAMC pitches you must have budgeted for the highs and lows. So you are on site and as you say grateful for goverment intervention and the club, so me no brainer continue to be grateful and pay the peak rate, afterall you have all the facilities and the beauty of only having 10 outfits on a 74 pitch site , so staying safe should be easy, enjoy.

I have a caravan parked up next to my bungalow, yesterday i received a renewal notice for my insurance from the club, i will have to pay this even though i cant use my caravan for the foreseable future so that it is covered for fire etc. undecided

Posted on 27/03/2020 12:51

Yes we have , I ment the very long long  cues to get in , the walk there is very pleasant in this weather ,

Yes correct , in lots of ways , nobody has said they won’t pay and nobody has said they will start a fuss , and if you are not using your van for some months suspend your insurance for awhile.
