Garlieston

Decided to go to Garlieston CC in Galloway. The handbook said "no need to ring the site in advance" - so I didn't. Imagine how it felt when we got there and found it was fully booked! When I mentioned the handbook saying that we didn't need to ring in advance, she said it didn't mean no need to book and was linked to some sort of narrow bridge problem.However we moved to New England Bay, where there was plenty of room and the site is fabulous (especially in this weather)
