Is CC pricing itself out of the market?

The CC have very nice sites which are kept immaculate by hard working wardens, however we feel that they are pricing themselves out of the market especially during peak seasons.  For example for a 10 day stay on a CC site in Cornwall it was nearly £300 however a commercial site with no clubhouse facilties and just as nice was less than £200.

With all this bad weather and sites closing many pitches, obviously the CC is going to lose a great deal of money.  To recoup it, are we going to see a hike in pitch fees and membership next year?  We have until recently used mainly CLs due to the high cost of pitches on CC sites.  We are forced to use CC sites at the moment because of the bad weather and this cuts down on the number of  times we can go out.

Are we the only people who think that CC sites are starting to get pricy in comparison to commercial sites?
