Surely there must be a fantastic wealth of knowledge out ther offering advice about getting round local hotspots for traffic when towing . For instance I stopped overnight on the services close to the Bournemouth end of the M27 and insread of getting on my way we had a leisurley brecky ,which resulted in me spending 1.5 hours stuck in traffic for what should have been a 25 min journey to Holmsley Centuary site Doh !!!

So here is my contribution. If you must travel through Lyndhurst to get to the Christchurch area..leave the M27 at Jcn 2 or alternatively Jcn 3 for M271 pick up A35 and follow the lorry signs for Lyndhurst ...that way you skirt the town and are on your way to the A35 with no traffic lights and jams.and smoking cluch.
