Leaf blowing

We watched a warden wandering around the site this morning with her petrol leaf blower. There wasn't a leaf in sight, there's barely a leaf on any tree. The only things she blew were a few bits of stray gravel & a puddle. What a complete waste of time, effort & resources. No wonder the toilet block had to be shut at 10 to make time for such important tasks.

an instructor David? that sound like teaching? You know what they, those that can...

Oh if you want the short answer between teachers and instructors - really there isn't any at the 'chalkface' or student end.

well apart from (generally) teachers get more money, better status, better jobs and conditions, actually help society not an individual company, paid for by taxes,  that sort of stuff. Get a textbook on it.wink

One of many roles in a 35 year career , the easiest and the least satisfying, much preferred a proper job at the coal face.

I very much doubt if you earned more than me unless you are calculating it as an hourly rate  and then you could be rightwink  but boasting about salary is not the done thing .

I can imagine David. When  I was just turned 40 my boss had got a promotion and wanted me to join him in a new department. More money, organising others to do the work that I could do better than them laughing

Thankfully, as much as I hated disappointing him, I declined after talking with my wife.

Quite Agree, one of the very few things i dislike about Club sites.

Afternoon Facilities cleaning, when nearly everyone is offsite makes much more sense. But hey ho youre not here to enjoy yourself you know...just follow the rules.
