Posted on 07/09/2021 09:04 by cyberyachtThe length of season is, surely, dependent on a durable pitch surface rather than the availability of a toilet/shower block?

Posted on 14/06/2021 21:08 by TakethedogalongNorth Norfolk has some really lovely CLs and CS sites, some of the best in the country, so it’s rare we use Club Sites there. Only been to Incleborough once, a couple of nights one Autumn, only half of Site open very quite. Never been to Sandringham or Seacroft, but we have always enjoyed Fakenham Racecourse. Not sure if it’s still a Club Site nowadays.
I think part of our Cornish trip in September might be to seek out an alternative to Marazion if it comes to pass that Club have lost it. We prefer not to be too far down either Lands End or the Lizard, as it can be a tad more cut off at either, that’s why we loved this location. Choice of coasts, equidistant to either LE or Lizard, and easy to get elsewhere such as Falmouth, St Agnes Etc....

It might be worth looking at Globe Vale (just outside Redruth). It's central, therefore making it easier to visit a wide variety on places. We've used it for years, although I'. tempted to try Carnon Downs now that it's a Club Site just to see what it's like...

Posted on 11/06/2021 10:05 by brueJust read on a review that the Marazion site is due for closure. Does anyone know if this is correct and can CAMC sites team confirm or not? Thanks.

Posted on 05/09/2022 08:13 by ScreenName9B198D17F1We've just come back from staying at the lovely Marazion camp site (4th Sept 2022) and were informed by the staff that the site will be closing in two weeks time. What a shame.

Posted on 05/09/2022 08:34 by eurortravellerBut not closing permanently - it’s listed as re opening on 10 March 2023. .
Things are seasonal down here - many businesses wind down for the winter when visitor numbers dwindle - just as Brittany Ferries closes down its Plymouth ferryport.
