Undecided I dont understand why check in arrival times are not more flexible in Winter?  Days are so much shorter, when dark falls at 4pm.  Therefore, I like an early start, however, when you cannot check in until noon, by the time you are set up you dont have any time before darkness falls - this measn a wasted day!  Whn I have asked about early arrival I have been alloed to check in 30 mins earlier!  Really!  That is bonkers!  Providing there is pitch availability it should be from 9am!  I like to go walking, and check in tiems between noon and 6pm is very restrictive in winter - and especially irritating when a site is half empty!   I have to thank the Morris Leisure Group who happilly allowed me to check in at 9.30am which gave me a full day in November.  I work full time, so i like to arrive Sat am for a weekend stay!  Is this the Clubs way of trying to force people to arrive Friday evenening - when chack in stays open later than normal, however Sat am you cannot check in!  Its just not on - is this a way of making the extra night stay and the fees ?    In winter most sites I have stayed on close off half their wc and shower facilities due to being so quiet - however, you still cannot check in!  Ther eis less gardening to do - yet still check in is noon!  Come on CC its time to recognise the daylight hours, the availability of pitches and peoples need to actually get a day's break rather than a day wasted!!  Flexilibility please!  in all areas!
