One way or another?

Ok so this isn't a crticism of arrangements which probably make sites work smoothly. Like many I own a continental Motorhome so many things are on the other side including my freshwater filler cap. On a site last week I arrived, went round the one way system to fill up and did a sharp three point turn in a conveniently empty couple of pitches adjacent to the MH service point and reversed neatly on to the tap. So far so good. As I finished the warden pointed out I was the wrong way on the road. I explained how I'd got there.

So my question is what should I do? I could get a super long fill hose but if I did it would put me in the way of traffic and block the road as I have a service locker door to open in order to get to the filler cap.

Any suggestions (other than sell the van and buy one with the filler on the right side) are welcome.

Thanks
