We have decided to stay nearer home these last couple of years, when l say nearer l mean within an 150 miles or so, most within 100 miles. Since we started we couldn't believe what’s on our own door step, granted we live in Cheshire which gives us access to The Derbyshire peak district, the Lakes, Yorkshire Dales, North Wales and Shropshire all with in an 150 mile radius. We can also get to the Cotswolds and the Malvern’s just within the 150 miles. This doesn’t mean we will have to forego Cornwall, Devon, Scotland, South Wales and the other beautiful destinations on this Fair Isle of ours. We think while the recession is at its peak we will explore nearer home. Anyone else doing the same.
