Nice to see there’s one letter of support already.

It’s not a requirement to be a resident to write a letter of support or objection. Anyone with an interest can contribute, such as CAMC members.

Thanks Peedee, I'm wondering if the so called "serviced" pitches are just basic pitches as the old service points appear to be upgraded. I note the pitches will be block paved like some of the pitches at Tewkesbury. I would imagine that it will take a while for this site to re-open whatever the planning outcome. I tried to put the plan on here but seem to have lost it! smile edit just re-checked and the pitches have service points.

Interesting to see the facilities block is divided into two with separate entrances, one for club users and one for the sailing club - 8877719.pdf

And details of the all weather (aka gravel) service pitches

Brue - see plan I've attached it looks like gravel? Clean crushed stone chipping it says? And yes each has a tap and drain as well as EHU

You could be right Corners I thought I read "block paving" somewhere but have Deleted User all the info. Apologies the block paving is around the M/H service point.

The facility block remains the same although I've never noticed anyone using the other part, maybe they just sneak across the public road out of sight!? wink

This is a welcome improvement plan for this lovely campsite. It will
provide Totnes with the facilities campers expect and allow the site
to provide a long term investment in Totnes. Visitors provide an
important and substantial contribution to the the local economy

I'm not an expert in reading plans -  I'm just going off what it says.

The bollard and drain appear the same as the latest club site SPs we've used.

Can anyone find any reference to the electrics within it?

The plans seem to indicate all pitches will be serviced? I didn't read anything about the electrics within the bollards.
