Where to go

Hi, we are new to the motor-home community and we are new to the Caravan Club as-well. We have looked at the maps and reviews of sites but we are getting increasingly frustrated by the lack of information on local restaurants that are very close by, we don't want to unhook up the motor home and pack up every time we want to eat. We have very young children and cant walk for hours. I know we have a cooker and all facilities on-board but very often we just want to take the family out for a meal. Don't Caravan Club sites offer these facilities. On the web site search engines it only asks do I need a village or town within 0.5 of a mile not quality food outlet or pub or restaurant close by.

Please help, we need lots of suggestions of places to go with hard standing, electric hook up, preferably with on pitch water. Any sites in the UK but more so in the midlands for the short weekend breaks away (we live in Shropshire.)

All suggestions greatly received
