I have booked a number of CC sites in the summer, as I want to take my family a your of the highlands of Scotland.

However I have booked to stay two nights at each of the sites. I was surprised to see the variance in prices between the clubs sites for a standard electric hook up pitch with no awning. For example the prices for two nights varied from £32 to £52. I have no intention to use my awning for this trip but I am still getting charged for an awning pitch as there was no option for caravans with no awnings at some sites.

If the CC delivers the same service eg toilet blocks etc why is there such a difference in price for a standard electric pitch?. Also why must I pay foe an awning pitch even although I dont want one and dont get the choice whilst booking.

I just feel the difference between £10 a night is a lot for a family on a tight budget especially in the present climate.
