CONGRATULATIONS to the 99 year old gentleman who started walking round his garden to try to raise £1000 for N H S Charities Together before his own 100th birthday. At lunchtime today, April 16th he has raised a mere THIRTEEN MILLION POUNDS Plus !!  WELL DONE SIR, VERY WELL DONE !!

He seemed pretty relaxed about things - I'm sure he'll keep his head - although isn't there a rather worrying precedent in that respect for a man with his name? surprised

And today he will , I understand, have a trip into Windsor for Her Majesty to ask if his toes have cooled down now as she actually dubs the Great Man . !!  There should be some celebrations chez SIR THOMAS today !!
