Sad to say that Ruth Madoc of "Hi-de-Hi" amongst other credits has passed away after an operation following a fall. Hi-de-Hi was such firm favourite in our family.

So it's Goodnight Campers and RIP Gladys

Indeed it's sad robsail, I wonder if she took her little xylophone with her for the three note intro to her " Hi de Hi ". So sad that following the operation she posted that she was getting better althoughshe would not be well in time for this years Panto.

At least she remembered the old theatrics saying ==> Always leave 'em asking for MORE !!
