Just heard , 10 0'clock Evening News, that Lionel Blair the Entertainer Par Excellence, has died at age 92

R I P Lionel, and thank you for many years of entertainment.

One of the "old school" who had to earn a living from an early age and a real trouper.

Followed him a while back on one of those ‘Marigold Hotel’ things where they take fading celebrities to India to reflect on their lives. He was relentlessly cheerful, always up for new experiences and deeply respectful of others. A nice bloke, RIP.
