Pleased this has come to fruition, covers lots of different areas in North Wales. I can just remember the slate producing areas working, as we spent a lot of time with relatives in area. It’s a huge shock still seeing the quarried landscapes, even if it has mellowed down the years. Includes lots of the infrastructure like Talyllyn Railway as well.

There’s the mining World Heritage Sites in Cornwall and Devon as well, good to see such unique places achieving global recognition.
