R I P Caroline Aherne

Terrible news, talented lady.

Wow, shock to me. RIP Caroline Aherne.

So shocked and saddened to hear this news half an hour ago. Sad that a very talented lady has passed away so young.

Very sad news, a very talented lady, such a shame, she was so young.  RIP  Caroline.

Very, very sad.

I saw an interview in which she said that both her and her sister had cancer of the eye when they were young and their mother told them that only special people got cancer.

She went on to say that, well, she must be very special now because she had both bowel and lung cancer.  Very brave.

No matter how many times I see her asking Debbie McGee that question, I still have to laugh

RIP Caroline, thank you for making me laugh so many times. 

Just come on line from Germany to hear this very sad news.  Thanks for posting and RIP Caroline Aherne - a sad loss.

Sad, sad news.  I loved all her characters - especially in the Fast Show where she played a check-out operator, who commented sarcastically on everything the customer had purchased and Poula Fisch the weather forecaster where everything was 'Scorchio'.  

There are lots of her funniest moments on Youtube in a tributes thread contributed to by lots of her friends.
