RIP Terry, one of a kind.  Programme on Radio 2 currently

I just found out on the Internet! He died due to cancer. Apparently only recently diagnosed hence why he never compared a show recently.

sad! As he was a good compare, but a hopeless singer

I must admit I never liked him , I found him irritating  ,but i appreciate that he was a legend of broadcasting, and yes he will be missed

Sir Terry's radio programme was always friendly so long as the floral dance was not played! You felt a chum of his!

Yes I too have just read the news on the internet.  Such a shock and so sad.  He will be missed so much by so many people.  My thoughts are with his wife and family.  It has been a dreadful January with too many losses through cancer.

Yes, truly sad news. I used to love listening to him in the radio and his banter with Ken Bruce and boggy Marsh. January is really taking its toll this year.

Sadly another entertainer who has left the studio for the last time. You were up there with the best Sir Tel, sadly missed by one of your TOGs

Very sad indeed he was one of my favourite broadcasters I loved his Radio 2 Breakfast show always entertaining.

Sir Terry will be sadly missed, he was a true giant in broadcasting to me and I have grown up listening to his shows. We have just finished listening to Sunday morning radio on BBC radio 2 this morning and the tributes and music played were fabulous. There will be much laughter in heaven today. RIP Terry.......
