If I'm ill or in an accident - I want to go to Holby Hospital (or whatever it's called).

As soon as you go into A&E there, you are surrounded by several doctors and nurses who fight over themselves to look after you. Even the ambulance driver comes back at regular intervals to check how you are doing. And they check and make sure that your home life is all in order, that your family are all alright and that you have cancelled the milk for tomorrow.

Compared to my experience at our local hospital.....went in at about 6am with kidney stone, left in a room for an hour until a nurse came and gave me a tablet. Then left again (writhing in agony) for about two hours till a doctor came. Then put in a room where a couple of trainees came to have a look at me. Ended up staying the night (taking up a bed unnecessarily) as they never got around to doing a scan.

Television eh?
