We both have tough genes, still enjoy swimming when we can in UK. OH is banned without a wetsuit now, his so called dicky ticker couldn’t take the shock anymore.
I have a cousin who has swum Cayton Bay, Windermere, Coniston, etc…, and we have a couple of neice’s who are regular wild swimmers. One even won a medal up in Scotland a few years ago in the Ice Swimming Championships. She has an ice barrel at home to dip into to keep her resilience up🥶🥶🥶🥶 I ain’t that bonkers any more. 🤣

I surfed Tolcarne at Newquay one Whitsun. My OH had to unzip me from my wetsuit as my hands wouldn't work. Don't dip my toes in until I'm south of the fortieth parallel now. It's alright for Thor, he's got a bit more fat than me.
