We have booked our Pullman trip for this year, Ely to Carlisle via Settle.  Steam (Duchess of Sutherland) will be from Crewe to Carlisle.  

Sounds like a fine trip, OP. Will you be going over the Ribblehead Viaduct on the route from Settle to Carlisle?

 Good 'evans Nellie   What made you think that i'd use a train for anything other than shifting bricks, concrete and rubble over to Nor Folk (!) to help those coastal people losing houses to the North  Sea
