I remember when Grace Archer died in the fire! Whilst when I was young I did listen to the Archers, one way to delay bedtime! I can't say I am a fan now.

Looks as if I am the only one clinging on to the wreckage then.  But I am hoplessly addicted. Tried kicking it; then spent ages on Catch Up.

No you are not but being a fan does require a greater attention span than most series. significant stories like that about  coercive  control that has possibly led to legislation take many months to develop and not everyone can stick with them.

I pick up the Archers when things are going well and switch off when I think it's OTT. Discerning after hearing it all my life! laughing (Used to like it when it was escapist rather than heavy going.)

If you listen to it on the Long Wave it is transmitted (all 500 Kliowatts) just down the road from us and not far from Ambridge sorry Inkberrow home of the Old Bull Inn
