There were one or two tiny gaps just before individual performances, but I didn't think it was too bad. I quite enjoyed the fact that some of the 'power' was in the hands of the contestants when they had to chose the 'mentor'. I shall watch it again.

That is exactly why we watched Let it Shine and recorded the Voice, so we could then watch it later and fast forward through the ad breaks (not to mention the rest of the dross in between) Tonight I watched the 'new Strictly' on ITV (Dance, dance, dance) that was just as bad - pretty much an ad break between every dance it was excruciatingly long-winded, very unnecessary IMO, don't think I'll bother with that again (Strictly - it is not !)
As for Let it Shine, think they have found their star in programme 1, the guy who is already in Thriller, job done there !

It's one of the few programs I enjoy watching, because at this stage of the series every act coming on is a total unknown talent. I also enjoy the judging system and format of the show, unlike some other talent show's that need a new format or taking off the TV altogether.
