Farm Shops

Any recommendations in parts of the country some of us might be visiting? I can recommend two in Somerset, just off the A3303 near the South Petherton roundabout. The Trading Post and Bower Hinton Farm Shop. Both have coffee shops (one in an old railway carriage) So also quite useful if you've got a motorhome and want a break, parking a bit tricky with a caravan. But if you're staying in the area a good alternative to supermarkets. smile

Called in at a recommended farm shop quite local to where we are staying and glad we did.

Denstone Hall Farm shop & cafe in Denstone just north of Uttoxeter and a few miles from Alton, of the Towers fame.

Excellent butchers with packaged meals along side the butchers counter plus a well stocked fruit & veg area with good quality packetted other food products. A well used cafe and an upmarket gift shop.

We passed en route to our campsite and walked down to it today. Car park was heaving both times so it has a good reputation.
