On a recent visit to an excellent CL in Lincoln,we visited Louth and followed directions to a town centre car park.We did notice us and many others, having difficulty getting the car park machines to accept our coinage, one machine, the £1.00 coins kept dropping straight through.Anyway after a couple of minutes one machine accepted our car reg and coins and a ticket issued.
Low and behold arriving back home,a week or so later,a car park fine of £60.00 and very clear photographs or our car showing entering and leaving the car park, and the reason given was the photographs did not match the times on our ticket, which by now unfortunately we have disposed of.
The Euro Car Park company seem to hide behind a wall of anonminity, and only contact open to me is a appeal letter. They do not deny I did not purchase a ticket.
The time given by ECP is an "overstay" of 10 minutes. At least now I will never moan with a "Ringo" type car park, with all information on your phone!!
Has anyone else had this, and how do you proceed to any appeal
