Is It An Age Thing?

With the Commonwealth Games being held in Glasgow in July there has been a lot of talk of such and such an event happening to celebrate them. It got me thinking, when I was younger I used to love watching athletics and I knew all of the athlete's names and which sport they competed in. Now that I'm older I have completely lost interest in most sport, excepting football and swimming. To be honest if the Commonwealth Games were being held in my local park I don't think I'd bother going to see them. What's happened to make me feel this way?
