Hi, We have sold our motorhome and bought a little swift basecamp, The awning is the vango that you have to have on the rear door, Has anyone had any problems  on site ?  , as the caravan with the awning is 9 meters . Thank You.

IMHO it will depend on the layout of the site as 9mtrs is about the Max size and will not fit on all pitches hardstandings especially ,grass pitches will normally have more space ,check the information for the sites you are wanting to go to as some sites have lower sizes, and a call to the site will give more info,

A friend of mine has a Vango awning with his basecamp and has experienced issues on some sites but the last I heard he has stopped using the Vango awning. Instead he has purchased a 2m wide Kampa awning which fits neatly across the rear of the van - ie over the entrance, albeit this provides far less additional space.
