We do it other way round Kjell, we pack clothes for a week, then visit a laundrette!

We usually have a walk around town while they are doing! Lots of CLs have washing machines nowadays as well, so quite easy. Only time we tend to take more clothes than we might use is at change of seasons, but even then it will just be a couple of woolies or a fleece.

Just had a look at our thermometer, already 27c here and still climbing! Not a cloud in the sky either.........glorious.

Bright sunny start for our last morning at Cirencester. Just enough time for a stroll through to the park and a wander round to say hello to fellow CTer Only Jen and her sister, Jo. Good to meet you both and enjoy the rest of your stay at this lovely site. smile

PS - when I left at 11:25, there were 3 units waiting at reception, 2 more parked up on the access road (if you know the site you'll  realise how awkward that makes things) and another 3 heading along the road, possibly to the site. It's going to be a busy weekend for those very hard working wardens! surprised

+1 Same with us helps keep weight down as well

Fortunately we have a high payload compared to newer vans!

On a shorter trip, as this will be, we prefer not to have to seek out a laundrette, and as far as we are aware, none of the CLs do have clothes washing facilities.

Good journey up to North Norfolk, journey time has been cut by 15/20 minutes by using the new northern distributor road.  You now pass the airport on one side with all sorts of stacked passenger aircraft and on the other side of the road is an air museum with a Vulcan clearly visible.

Had a lovely afternoon meeting Brue, Millie and their OHs.

Whoever goes to the Lionel Richie concert at Holkham Hall on Sunday should have great weather.

We enjoyed meeting up with you, brue and her OH. Thank you for arranging it OP.

Moved on this morning from Pontorson to a lovely quiet campsite at Creully about 12 km from Bayeux.

We arrived before lunch so once we were set up and finished lunch we set off on the bikes for the coast, not bad going across a mix of quiet country roads and tracks across the fields. We then arrived at Juno beach followed by Gold beach, love this area but not been back for 6 years, glad we squeezed it in. Tomorrow is set to be another good day so more trips outsmile

Bakers2, not hogging the good weather, just Cyber was up to early in the morning to get the benefitwink I'm sure he is getting it now.

Happy weekend all, stay safe.

Just been to feed the hedgehog and check the sky. Lovely view of Jupiter and one moon from here. Now taken myself to bed in the almost daylight 😉.

Night all

B2 I looked out about 11 pm and could see what I thought was Jupiter and it's moon to the east of The Moon. It was still quite light this far north and I could only make out the planet's moon with my binoculars. Would that have been correct? There was a planet due west of us earlier in the evening and than, having to get up at about 3 am I looked out and I guess I could see Mars high in the southern sky.  Hope that this makes sense.
