Not me. The twenty20 is enough short form cricket. Give me a county championship or 5 day test match over all this short form any day.

I get that but the huge crowds and support for this short form is very real. It appears hugely popular amongst the young and families particularly. Who ever dreamt up this format has hit a winning formula. Some years ago ckicket looked dead on its feet, now look at the enthusiasm.

I have watched a couple of the hundred games , but still prefer the longer red ball format , guess I'm just a traditionalist. Saying that I can see the attraction of "see ball , smack ball "and if it puts bums on seats it can only be good for the game in general.

Totally agree there,  Whittakerr,  except for one point ~~  it's not Bums on Seats that matters it's How Much the Tv etc companies put in pockets !  Soon it will be like football  with a player being paid half a million more per week when doctors and surgeons would be lucky to see that much after a year or six. yell
