How's your footy team doing?

I'm starting this thread again because it seems to have been a casualty of the change over to the new site. The Terriers scecured another away win last night at Burton. Two wins in a row now after a barren spell. It'll all go pear shaped on Friday when we go to Norwich because the game is to be televised , we haven't won on the telly for ages.

undecided ??

Crewe have a 50% success rate and that ain't too bad.

Just think, M,  they could have achieved a 50% failure rate wink

Good old FA!  They've charged Town with infringing the advertising on shirt rules in relation to the fake shirt.

Town's crime is that they wore the infamous shirt in a friendly match. The match was at Rochdale and the shirt was seen by a massive crowd of 4,000, 3,000 of which were Town fans who'd already seen the shirt earlier that day. All the FA will achieve is yet more publicity for the green bookie.

On a lighter note 15 of the fake shirts were sold on flea bay and raised just over £28,000 for three local charities, some generous fan paid £3,750 for the captain's matchworn shirt.

After noting Man City demolish West Ham (I didn't watch it) would it be a fair comment to say the Premiership is already won and the others are just jockeying for the minor places? I predict City will go through the season unbeaten and I'm so sure, I'm off to the local bookies tomorrow - which is something I never do - to put my money where my mouth is!

Sad times at Bury.

Come on Stanley!

Well, I hope you're right about City, but having watched them for more years than I'm admitting to, I very much doubt it!

Great results for both Manchester teams this weekend 😊

Keep the faith, footy fans.

After a poor start to the season, I'm hoping we might return to winning ways tomorrow night when we take on The Imps in the Carabao Cup. Mind you I'm not holding my breath we've fallen at the first hurdle for at least the past three seasons, all to lower league opposition. And Lincoln City have a really good Cup record.

Sometimes it's hard to keep the faith.

A start to the season? Did it ever go away. I seem to have to endure extensive discourses on every news programme I watch, even to the extent that it is sometimes the headline topic. As if there was nothing of more importance going on in the world.

Well that was entirely predictable. Yet another early exit from a cup competition. Our second string players proving that they are fit for the first team by getting beaten with the same dire football.

Good win for the the Alex Brian👍

Grrrrr! Three games in and guess how many goals Rovers have scored, to the nearest round number (and it's a very, very round number!) yell
