Big Garden Birdwatch

Don't forget it's the  Big Garden Birdwatch soon, coming up on the 25/26 th January. See www.rspb.org.uk  Don't know whether you take part in this each year?  It's easy to sign up for and it's a worthwhile survey. As it's not been so cold (so far) we haven't seen so many winter visitors in our garden, just a few Fieldfares and the rest are all locals. I recently counted 17 blackbirds eating into our piles of apples, they don't usually tolerate each other but there is a winter truce at the moment!
