We stayed on a large commercial site last week which had  hundreds of rabbits running free. Sounds cute, but there were problems. Their den holes was a tripping hazard, it was reported in the site review that one lady had to have hospital treatment for a serious injury. Then there was the droppings, extentsive with that number of rabbits, despite care they found thier way underfoot in the awning, caravan and car. On our return home it has taken two days to rid ourselves of them. My point is are these conditions safe for children and pets to play on? A few years ago we stayed on a site with free roaming chickens where there was was the additional dimension of the smell. Will aviod such sites in the future.
