Red Kites

Being a fan of the top notch site Top Lodge, have seen Red Kites there many times.

Now I have been pondering this over the last few days,

While out in the garden I heard the sound that Red Kites make, took no notice and thought ooh Top Lodge, heard it again, looked up and saw two pairs very high in the sky, that looked like Red Kites but couldn't be sure, my binoculars unfortunately were in the caravan which at the time was in the workshop, found some very old ones, but still could not make up my mind as to what I was seeing.

Are there any real bird watchers out there that could tell me if there is another bird that sounds exactly like the Red Kite, would like to know they were Kites, making same noise and flying around like Kites
