If you walk out the car park up t' hill and turn left, carry on that road B6160  for a mile and half, turn into Bolton Abbey grounds, have a meander through fields then head off over t' bridge.

Keep walking and enjoying the beautiful scenery along t' river bank, keep on the same side and wander up the bankment, looking down on the Strid as you go.

Go on to Barden Tower, rejoin the B6160 and keeping walking on, you get back to Strid Wood after a couple of hours.

Do you know youve just gone round in a circle ?

No need to thank me for this bit of information,

I'm always here to help, smilie
