Just been to Grassington site, took motorhome to the Kilnsey Trout Farm just a couple of miles down the road parking in their car park next to the lakes, several long bays! Had a good day's fishing catching blues, browns and rainbows to four pounds. Nice having van with us for those moments when the rains came. The cafe was good too for a retreat for coffee and cake. Any other venues near sites or on sites like this you know of?

If you want to pay CC fees Dunnett Head has most still waters within easy reach. You can walk to Loch St.Johns.  Watten and the Dunnett Head lochs are near. Some salmon fishing on the Thurso also ava liable. However plenty of wild spots adjacent to these lochs for the van to be  handy and allow late fishing. Here at Clywedog a few vans park at the reservoir and fish. Club site is at Lanbrynmair. Sites also close to Rutland and Eyebrook and also in the West Country. A look at the CC map will identify the CC and Cls.
