A reminder

Good reminder.

Walking the dog at 6am is good for us as well, and a 10pm walk cools us both down for bed time.  Was surprised yesterday how hot the pavement was when I stood barefooted on it.

Police in York smashed a car window to release two dogs left in a car in this heat. The dogs are fine now, but have been taken from owner, who is facing prosecution by the RSPCA. So they should.

It's not only dogs and pets. Some fools leave small children strapped into baby seats. I do sometimes think that a "fit and proper" intelligence test would help some parents and pet owners!

That's  a  regular  threat  at  Vintage  Rallies  etc  TDA,  just  a  tannoy  announcement  :--  "please  return  to  car  Regn    Blah   De  Blah  immediately,  or  a  window  will  be  smashed  to  release  them "  The  only  thing  I  don't  know  is  which  windows  are  the  hardest,  not  necessarily  the  dearest,  to  replace  ??

Makes no odds how much windows are, pets and children shouldn't be enclosed in this kind of weather. Can't believe it still happens after all the publicity to be honest. Some people are just so stupid in terms of health and safety. You get examples in all walks of life.

Quite  agree,  TDA,  I  was  more  interested  in  giving  the  perpetrators more  reason / time  to  reflect  on  their   stupidity.

Front  windscreens  are  easily  replaced,  but  rear  windows ?  or  windows  in  doors  ??

Thanks for the reminder for us all HD.  There are lots of reminders going around on Facebook too, but all of these reminders are good if they safe a dog from unnecessary suffering.

Not walked our two dogs in daytime for well over two weeks, ventured out last night at 9.30pm, but only on grass surface, in the shade is the best place for all pet's and us.cool

If I said the 'W' word at 9:30 pm Molly would look at me as if to say ... You kidding? I'm sleeping! But if I even look as though I'm heading for the door at tea time, Molly will be there, ready & waiting for her walk. First stop is then the river.

Not all dogs are the same & credit other owners from doing it different
