Did anybody see the Countryfile progarm Sunday Evening ? There was an article on there about the dogs getting ill after going into the woodlands around Sandringham, Norfolk & Notts. They suspect it's caused by a small tick-like bug. Nothing concrete as yet though. However the point that was made even by a Vet was that there had been a very small percentage of dogs that had contacted this disease & that with precautions & vigilance should not present a large problem in taking your dogs into these woodlands.

 Look out for the program as it is aired again through the night one night this week & available on I Player as well
