Farewell my sweetheart

Today was not a good day.

I overslept and had to miss breakfast.

I slipped on the ice and the car would not start.

My boss was mad because I was late.

And today we buried the dog.

Today was not a good day.

I slept through a meeting where I was supposed to take notes.

I missed my lunch to make up for lost time.

I snapped at my friend who was trying to help me.

And today we buried the dog.

Today was not a good day.

I got home late and it was getting dark.

So I slipped on the ice again.

And swore in front of a child.

I'd left my keys at work so had to go back for them.

And today we buried the dog.

All in all, today was the worst day of all.

I'm sorry if I have confused anyone.  I have lost my dear little whippet and just expressed my feelings as per the original post.  She was the best companion I've ever had and literally saved my life when I was going through a bad period of depression.  My partner got her for me in order for me to have something positive to focus on.

Ive never heard of the game you played in the 1950s JCB4X4 - not old enough I'm afraid!  That probably explains your rather odd post earlier on - at the time I just thought your comment was rather heartless and ignored it.

Hi JCB4x4

Thats OK - not all your fault!

I can't believe the words I used were those you knew already - perhaps I heard them in a previous life!

It's so sad when we lose our pets, I fully understand your post katieb everything gets on top of you no matter how trivial, but what is important you buried your dog so you don't give a hoot for anything else
