So what were they?

We had loads but one that brings back happy memories is thinking back to the end of May sitting in the sun at Little Nook CL high above Hebden Bridge listening to Curlews calling on the Moor around us, then walking down through the moor to the village pub for a pint. Sheer magic.

Highlight for us was probably our month in France & Spain. Total for the year was 66 nights although it would have been more had we not had to curtail our Scottish sojourn because of a family bereavement. Other trips were adjusted or fitted around medical issues. As Mark Twain observed "Life is what happens while you are trying to do something else".
