Lovely people,we have been using this site for 20 years plus, it suits all our needs. It is only 2.5 hours from home and we can launch our boat in Aberdovey.

Yup I have a commercial booked and just booked a CL for a long weekend.but giving the Continent a miss for a while certainly for this year.

What with threads being locked and removed might give CT a miss for a while too. Went for lunch and when I came back, poof, there it was gone!

Summer of 2019, the sun shone in Spain & France (a bit too much) and nobody had heard of CV19

Canoeing  on the Dordogne.  Only skill required is to steer in a "straightish" line and enjoy the day. No paddling   upstream as you are collected and transported back.smile

Our kind of day. We used to canoe down River Fowey, both ways. Wildlife along river was fabulous, but somehow we always got the tides wrong, and ended up dragging canoe across the odd sandbank. But it all added to a great day out. The dogs came too of course, and we would pop overboard every now and then for a swim. Great times.....😁

Edit, crikey, glad I read this one back and edited. I had us “pooping” overboard, not “popping!😂
