the government has annouced the banning of all new diesel & petrol cars by 2040 !

so what do we do for tow cars after then -  or Motorhomes for that matter ?

I can't see how electric cars are going to be upto the job so is it back to using horses ?

Fairy Dust?

Not that at 105 years old I expect to be still towing.

Motorhomes are not cars.

This could be why we see clubs turning towards MHs, tents, pods etc

Anyway, I'm not going to worry about it.

I doubt I will be towing at 95 but I would expect the powers that be to be sure there was an alternative vehicle.

We like to plan ahead, so it will be a trip to Mars, then calling back in on family on the Moon that year......adventure prior to dementia!

I'll be 81undecided if I'm still here? I'll stick with a S/H tow car in the unlikely event I am still able to enjoy the hobby.................

By 2040 battery technology will be so good nobody would dream of putting liquid in a fuel tank. In fact, for cars, this will be more like 2030.

If battery technology doesn't advance that quickly it will be some other system.
