Good Motorway Services Guide

As someone relatively new to towing a caravan I am rather concerned about the variation in the standards of motorwway services. A few have been excellent; for example Oxford services on the M40. Most have been awful.

My main concern is related to being given good access to a decently sized parking space. I have mostly given up following the signs for the caravan spaces and simply follow directions for the lorry park. We have been in situations where we have had to negotiate dreadful concrete-sided right angle bends and chicanes only to find the supposed caravan spaces are too few in number and nowhere near long enough. Sometimes we have had to "abandon" our car and outfit slewed diagonally across several car spaces just to avoid encroaching on the access roads.

Would it be possible for the Caravan Club to set up an online questionnaire (possibly using Survey Monkey or some other cost effective solution) to allow members to report good and bad experiences at motorway services? The compiled results could be published as a database on the club website. Something like that would help me to plan my stops more effectively than trying to zoom in on Google Earth before setting off.
