Hi all, I had an unfortunate incident with my caravan (nobody else involved) and have had to involve my insurance company who have asked me to get some quotes for a repair. I've had my first quote through and am awaiting a couple of others to forward to the insurance company for  review. I've noticed that the first company to quote doesn't mention being NCC registered but (apparently) have a good reputation. Should I be concerned about this? They came recommended.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.

Max.

IMHO you can't beat recommendation. The best tradesmen/women don't need to advertise as they get enough work via word of mouth. The last repair I had of my car was through my insurers approved repairer and the repair itself was OK at best.
