LED lighting

I bought some LED lights to replace the halogen bulbs in my Sprite Alpine.  The light from them is fine but we find that we can't listen to the radio when they are on as they cause so much interference.  I wonder if this is just a problem with the ones I got or is it a common problem with LED lights.  I believe that many new caravans come with LED lighting  as standard.
