Not sure if anyone else has come across this but I saw a link in a Facebook Group. It seems to be free to view and read, it's called Touring Magazine

Lots of the articles are glorified adverts but you'd expect that with a free magazine. Well worth a flick through though.
The most interesting piece in the current edition is a short history of the football game Subbuteo! A tenuous but perfectly logical link to any hobby!

There are some articles in this, and previous editions - also available to read - which appeal. And there is one which will surely get some members exercised in the "Disgusted, Tunbridge Wells" tradition - it's entitled Wild Camping.

I don’t think it’s an insult WTG, just surprise at someone’s interests. It’s a reaction that I sometimes get to some of the things I love/collect/make/likeπ
Its possibly the Venus/Mars thing as well. I know grown men that take pride in beer mats, while my fascination for shells and feathers usually starts a conversation with “yes but just how many do you need”
OH currently collects bikes, classic cars, clocks, teapots and nothing on this Earth can persuade him to part with a Penguin book. Apparently the alogarithm for optimum bike ownership is the number of bikes you currently own......+1. π
I didn’t know you could get Subbuteo models, so I am now off to Google!
Posted on 09/04/2021 21:39 by Ernie SI thought that the post was rude and uncalled for but having seen the prices that the Royal Doulton Subbuteo figures go for, I'm sure that the only important face will be your smiley one, WayTwoGo!
