I book and it asks me --What Time? I tick a box saying 12.00 to2.00 and I know it is 1.00pm earliest. We have no traffic and get near at 12.30. Wait in lay bye and arrive just after 1.00pm. I notice many units finishing setting awnings up etc. Hey Ho. BUT I spend the next 5 days watching people arrive as early as 11.00am and be allowed straight on.

This happened over New Year at White Water site near Stockton. Will the Club explain is it Wardens discretion, is it totally ignored, are they happy with a rule that may as well be removed.

Totally confused!

What site was that then MollysMumy.  If the blinds were down, then surely there was either no one in the office or they were getting ready for their 12.00 rush.

The 'rush' of two was their own making ....

I find it difficult to understand the difficulty in following in a polite request. As currently that is all it is a request. I suppose all it can be put down to is different attitudes. At the doctors and the dentist they encourage you to arrive early for your appointment. Sometimes you even get called in early, so I suppose it increases efficiency. However, at these places it seems the opposite applies, folk are often dashing in late.

Same with the local primary school, which we live on the route to. Parents dashing past kids in tow at 9:05. I wonder what their offsprings reaction to rules will be when they become adults.

Perhaps the wardens were cleaning loos or doing other jobs on site.

Perhaps they were on a well earned morning coffee break.

It matters not to me David. If I am a tad early I am more than happy to wait. Mid day is fine if that is required. Not keen on 1pm but not to worry.

If you arrive early it simply means that you left early so next time leave an hour later. wink

10 minutes early on a couple of hours journey  is pretty good in my book

I booked a site for Easter the other day and noticed the arrival time options had been updated where the arrival time was 1 pm.

13:00-15:00

15:00-17:00

17:00-19:00

19:00-2000

But for  a 12 pm arrival site it was still the old options.

12:00-14:00

14:00-16:00

16:00-18:00

18:00-20:00

so looks like some improvements are being made.
