PMS sensor

Our new 71 plate Fiat/Swift panel van has a faulty PMS sensor. Only done 2000 miles, still under warranty and we're waiting for the part to repair the problem.

Has anyone got the same problem/had the same problem. How long is the wait time for the part?

Very frustrating. Had to cancel two short breaks already and there doesn't seem to be the option of a 'courtesy' leisure vehicle whilst we wait.

Anyone any encouraging comments.

Like [Deleted User User] I've no idea what a PMS is .... TPMS perhaps? Though I doubt a TPMS would keep a vehicle off the road ... 🤔

Hi All

We had a good laugh about some of your comments. If we didn't laugh we'd cry.

When we first googled it we got TPMS which is tyre pressure monitoring system. It's more serious than that.

Our 'in-the-know' son-in-law says it's the Power Management System. The problem with this is if it breaks down completely the engine goes into limp mode. We enquired at our local service garage and they said they cost £500. So we have to wait and wait and wait.
